I got my heart broken and I survived, I failed 3 courses in university and graduated, I got rejected in the very first job I applied for and got promoted yesterday, I went through hard times with my family but then two years later, we laughed our hearts out over lunch, The closest friends disappointed me several times but I made new friends and loved them with all my heart. I did it once, I can do it again.

Just a heads up, you’re gonna be surrounded by plenty of people who have different opinions than you, keep that in mind. 

Make new friends! You’re in a new environment with new people

Make sure you keep your locker clean, don’t just shove papers in there. Also if your locker is clean, it makes it alot quicker to get to class when you are in a rush. 

Bring your lunch to school from time to time, you’ll get sick of eating school lunch everyday trust me

Have a notebook to write all your homework in to keep up with it

check your teachers websites daily! they like to sneak homework and extra credit on their sometimes. they also have helpful links for homework

Go to at least one football or basketball games in the 4 years you are there

it’s ok not to go out every weekend, you need some time for yourself

Don’t focus on having a relationship, they are just distractions most of the time and dont lead to anything good

Look online for your homework to see if you find the answers, it will save you alot of time when you are in a rush to do your homework

Not everyone is woke like they are online. Some people just put up a front for social media, up irl they don’t care (I’ve seen this plenty of times btw)

and remember, not everyone has good intentions for you. Beware of fake people.
